we’re in the camp of getting sticky, wearing your food, jumping in every lake / ocean / pool / stream you stumble across. jewels are meant to live life with you. all 14karatdoll pieces are made to last a lifetime, and to hold the little marks of memory along the way. scuffs, patina, soft scratches; we consider them love notes, not flaws.

howeveeer, a few gentle notes for ya:

avoid harsh chemicals (cleaners, chlorine, perfumes, lotions).

if your piece takes a dip in salt water or a pool, give it a quick rinse in clean water.

a simple polishing cloth will bring back the sparkle if you’re craving shine. sterling silver has a mind of its own and will tarnish more when it’s not being worn.. but nothing a soft cloth can’t handle.

let your jewelry tell the story of where it’s been. that’s the best part.

orders $100+ are shipped via usps priority mail (unless you choose something else). packaged with care and intention because we could all use some more of that.

we use deadstock and repurposed packaging whenever possible; old is our favorite, and the world doesn’t need more landfill fodder. there are plenty of jewelry pouches + polishing cloths already out there for you to use and reuse again and again - but if you need a rec - reach out!

fine jewelry and small objects come in one of a kind patchwork pouches. otherwise, expect something simple, whimsical, thoughtful, and made to get your pieces to you safely, with as little footprint as possible. :')
